The first stop has got to be the infamous Northern Quarter. An area much like an artist's palette splashed with quirky eateries satisfying a wide array of cuisines*. Check out Ciaooo Neapolitan Pizzeria for dough that’s been perfected over the years. It’s like taking a quick trip to Italy with each delicious bite.

For something a bit different, stop by Mackie Mayor. This European style cosmopolitan food hall houses a range of food and drink vendors. You can sample tacos from Pico, indulge in a steak sandwich from Tender Cow or savour some fried chicken from Mummas Fried Chicken. A day spent in this grade 11 listed building is never a day wasted. 

If you’re looking to satisfy a sweet tooth head down the back streets to The Flat Baker in Ancoats for some of the most delcatable pastries and sweet treats you’ll find in the city. They’ve become infamous for their pistachio croissants and homebaked goods. We advise gettin there early as they sell out quick! 

Indulge in the Curry Mile

If its something more spicy you seek then theres only one way to go and that’s straight to the Curry Mile in Rusholme. With over 70 restaurants lining the mile stretch through the town its a haven of Indian and Pakistani dishes brimming with life and spice. Don’t miss out on Alif Grill, famous for its tender kebabs and rich biryanis. 

Treat Yourself to a Sweet Delight

For dessert, head over to Black Milk a contemporary dessert cafe serving up some of the biggest pancake stacks and dreamiest sundaes you’ve ever seen. You can also buy there insanely good spreads we highly recommend their pistachio cream spead.
