Rock a Two Piece

Rock a Two Piece

As you know we're a huge advocate for the three piece suit however let's not forget about the trusty two piece. It's really all about two key components, the blazer and trousers, without these two can you really call it a suit? It's debatable! What's more, you may find yourself in a situation where you don't feel the need for a full three piece suit to look duly dapper. Either waistcoats just aren't your thing or the occasion may call for something a little less proper. Thankfully a two piece suit can be rocked just as well as a three piece, so much so that we've just launched a whole category dedicated to topnotch two pieces. Catering to all your waistcoat-less needs, the selection will hopefully provide some inspiration on how to style a two piece and not just by throwing on a uniform white shirt. Here's a little round up of our favourites from the category and where you can wear them...

The Max suit is a definitive workwear classic and due to its simplicity you can afford to be a bit experimental with your shirt choice. Who doesn't love to pop some pattern for the office!? The Dennis shirt will brighten up your day, a great option for bringing a subtle navy suit to life and once paired with a matching belt and tan oxfords you'll be giving your workmates a run for their money!

Running those all important errands should only be done in comfort...and style too! Now you can do both by wearing a t-shirt and trainers with a sharp two piece and still look suave. The Alvin from our new collection is spot on for this look. The bold check does well to be broken up with a block white t-shirt, keeping it in sync with the summer season.

This one is all about keeping the balance right. Not too smart that you look like you're about to step into the Royal Enclosure at the races but smart enough to avoid denied entry. A good way to crack this is by swapping out your shirt for a polo. It's a given that grey and black marry up nicely so opt for the Ben suit with informal black accessories.

Weddings of a more relaxed dress code are on the rise, a great opportunity to sport a two piece! Go for light and uplifting colours like the Harry suit in sky blue with matching shirt (try the Shelby shirt) and shoes to keep things coordinated. As the Harry suit is a tweed style it makes perfect sense to drop the waistcoat and stay cool for your spring/summer wedding invitations.
