One Suit, Four Ways | Morris

Introducing the Morris suit, definitely one to get noticed in! It's a bold and attention-grabbing tweed check with bundles of character, and with a generous amount of wool content it will definitely keep you cosy when temperatures dip for winter. As it's one of our newcomers, we thought it only right that we show you a few ways you can wear it....

LOOK 1 | HEAD-TO-TOE TWEED

We'll kick things off with a classic full three piece look featuring all members of the Morris family. The Morris suit has a few colours in the check you can draw upon for your accompanying pieces, for example, a sky blue shirt works a treat and makes a change from the standard white. You can also bring out the subtle yellow/gold lines by way of a tie. Combine these two complimentary colours with a patterned pocket square and for your footwear, a classic tan brogue suits this style down to a tee.

LOOK 2 | MIX & MATCH IT

You'll know by now that we're partial to a mix and match look, and for a suit as bold as Morris, it works a treat. Adding a plain block colour waistcoat like our Kelvin style will help to neutralise it a little and even make it more seasonal. You choose from a whole range of colours such as navy, tan, stone or sky blue depending on the time of year or occasion. We've gone for a stone hue, paired with a rust tie to bring out that pocket trim.

 LOOK 3 | TRY A TWO-PIECE

Another way to tone down this daring style is to opt for a two piece. Sometimes the dress code just doesn't call for a three piece and the Morris suit looks just as good without the waistcoat. For these more casual affairs, pair with an open collar shirt, a navy blue will give it a modern edge. Finish the look off with some funky socks and some navy blue oxfords. This look will strike the perfect balance between formal and casual.

LOOK 4 | DRESS IT DOWN

Whilst on the subject of two-pieces, let's dress it down even further and swap out your formal shirt for knitwear, great for when it gets a bit chillier outdoors as we delve into winter! A deep tan knit polo works well but don't rule out a navy blue roll neck if you didn't want to create too much of a contrast. Make sure your footwear is on point too with the ultimate weekend winner, the tan Chelsea boot, creating the perfect off-duty look for staying stylish whilst running your errands.
